Contract Sales Representative

Catalog Order Entry – Earn extra income evenings and weekends from home – as many or as few hours as you would like.

AeroGrow is the developer and manufacturer of the AeroGarden line of indoor gardens.

We are looking for people to assist our customers with inbound catalog phone orders for AeroGarden products through the holiday season and beyond.

The Position

The phone line is open 24/7 and agents set their own hours from home to suit their schedules. Agents use our internet based phone and order entry platform to answer customer calls and input customer orders. It’s a fun product line and our customers are nice. Systems are easy to set up and understand. Calls are warm, with people looking to order. No outbound cold calling!

Contract agents earn commissions on sales which are calculated on a weekly basis and vary depending upon the amount of weekly sales. The more orders you take, the higher your commission. Reps have earned more than $5,000 a month.

Contract agents work for themselves, providing a service to AeroGrow, and are not employees of AeroGrow.

To be considered for this position, you must have the following:

• Quiet work area free of distractions
• Computer capable of operating the software necessary to perform the required duties (Internet Explorer and Outlook Express)
• Sufficient internet connection (Broadband or cable internet connection)
• Clear and dependable telephone connection (Skype will work with cable internet)

Additionally, contract sales reps are expected to be available on site for initial training, and for a 30-minute weekly informational phone meeting, which is unpaid.

Our holiday agent wish list:

• Reasonable typing skills (minimum 40-45wpm)
• Inbound or outbound call center experience
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to relate to customers in a warm and professional manner

Also a plus:

• Gardening experience
• Bi-lingual (Spanish or French)
