Web Marketing Coordinator

Position Summary

AeroGrow International, Inc., the makers and marketers of the AeroGarden^® line of indoor gardening products, has an opening for a Web Marketing Coordinator. This position is responsible for coordinating the company’s various web-based marketing initiatives.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Pay-Per-Click Management – ongoing management, enhancement and expansion of our search engine PPC programs with Google, Yahoo, MSN and others.
• Affiliate Program Management – ongoing management, enhancement and expansion of our affiliate program (presently with over 2,000 Affiliates) with Commission Junction.
• Amazon.com Merchant Program Management - ongoing management and building of our Merchant Program with Amazon.com. Communicate and coordinate with various internal departments to ensure inventory is up-to-date, products are being represented accurately and that customers are receiving best-in-class support.
• Social Marketing Management – Leverage our Facebook Fan Page, Twitter page, YouTube Channels & other social-media based programs to build awareness and provide a “face” to our brand. Manage various marketing promotions and initiatives across these channels.
• Community Moderator – moderate our community website. Interact with members by posting relevant content, information & promotions, answering questions and responding to threads/posts and inquiries. Tie social media into our community to build awareness and membership
• Newsletter coordination – play a significant role in accumulating content for our newsletter distribution program.
• Email address generation – evaluate and implement programs designed to drive growth of our email name database.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Other web marketing-related projects and duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years experience working in a web marketing role, preferably for a brand/manufacturer of consumer goods
• At least 2-3 years direct PPC and Affiliate Program management
• Social Media and Community experience highly desirable and encouraged
• Basic HTML/Web Design skills helpful, but not required
• Must be a self-starter, have excellent communication skills and posses great attention to detail

Education/Experience Required:

• Bachelor's Degree; may hold an advanced degree
